When I began my design journey, I knew I wanted to create things to help people. I never cared what I made so long as I knew there would be an impact. I began my studies at Utah State University in the Graphic Design program, learning art and graphic design fundamentals. As my time in school progressed, I learned that I was not where I would learn the most. I switched to the Marketing program, with a minor in Marketing Design. This is where I learned how to design with a purpose.

My professional journey began at Maverik, Inc., where I was brought on as an intern for the Learning Experience team. This opened up the world of Instructional Design to me and showed me that my design expertise could help give adults the knowledge they needed to do well in their careers. After a successful internship, I joined the Learning Experience team as a Learning Coordinator. I used my visual, motion, and video design skills to bring the team’s content to the professional level of unity and class they aimed to achieve.
